Gappa, the Triphibian Monster (1967)

The film is a blend of King Kong (explorers find a creature the natives worship and bring it back for entertainment) and Godzilla-style Tokyo destruction (here, by the parents of the stolen creature).

Honestly, I fell asleep for large swaths of the parent Gappas attacking Tokyo, but every time I woke up, they were still destroying stuff. And it was all cheap enough that the destruction wasn’t THAT fun.

So, if you genuinely cannot get enough kaiju, here you go — otherwise, dozens of other kaiju movies are probably more entertaining.
